PRICES AND DESCRIPTIONS
- 1. Prices.
- All prices for stock items are the maximum you will be required to pay until either further notice or the issue of the next catalogue. Prices shown are effective for all orders delivered on or after 1st June 2006. Non stock items (shaded in grey) are subject to variation and you are advised to check before ordering.
- Any price reductions will be automatically passed on without prior notice.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT.
- 2. Specifications and Descriptions.
- Product descriptions and specifications are correct at the time of printing but may be changed during the year as new models, types, etc. are introduced by our suppliers, or as suppliers are changed. All sizes shown are approximate.
- Quality will however remain of paramount importance and will not be sacrificed in favour of price.
- 3. Audio Visual products.
- Manufacturers of Audio Visual equipment, in particular, tend to frequently amend or update the models offered and we recommend that you contact us before ordering to make sure that the item you want is available. Usually, such updates are to your advantage as updated models tend to provide an improved specification.
- 4. Orders

DELIVERIES
Deliveries will be made in one of two ways:
- 1. Stock Items.
- Orders are normally delivered within 48 hours of receipt (subject to seasonal fluctuations in demand).
- 2. Non Stock Items.
- Products which are shaded in a grey box are delivered to you direct by the supplier.
- 3. Checking Deliveries
- All deliveries should be checked as quickly as possible and held in a secure area. Sign the driver's delivery schedule and check that the goods supplied correspond with your original order. Please notify any discrepancies within 3 days to our Customer Relationship Management Team (telephone number: 01743 241130).
- 4. Furniture.
- Customers ordering furniture are advised to ensure that they have sufficient room for the item(s) ordered and have arranged their own handling facilities to move the furniture to the point of use. West Mercia Supplies can only deliver to ground floor reception areas and our drivers/suppliers are unable to assist in any further handling. This also applies to furniture delivered directly to you by suppliers.
RETURNS PROCEDURE
- 1. Stock Items.
- Items which have been supplied in error by WMS can be returned to us for a full refund or replacement, and collection will be arranged from your reception area. Where goods have been wrongly ordered you may be liable for a collection fee of £5.00. Our drivers are not authorised to collect goods without a WMS returns note. It will not be possible to return inkjet and laser toner cartridges or audio/visual products if they have been correctly supplied and are not defective.
- 2. Non Stock Items.
- It is not possible to return these items if correctly supplied without the agreement of the supplier, and a charge for collection will be made. Many non stock items of furniture are made-to-order and suppliers may refuse to accept them back or charge significant handling costs. Please make sure you order the correct colour and size to avoid this as it can be very expensive. You are recommended to discuss a proposed purchase before ordering with our team of buyers who will be able to advise you on the best product for your needs. - 3. Collection and Re-delivery (Non Stock Items Only).
- In the event of returns being made by the customer where an item has been wrongly ordered, or they are not yet ready to receive a product, a charge for collection and re-delivery may be made.
PAYMENT TERMS
- 1. Late Payments
- Invoices are due for payment within 28 days. Cheques should be made payable to West Mercia Supplies. Late payments of accounts may result in delays in executing outstanding orders.
- Payments not made by the due date will attract an immediate charge of 2½% and, thereafter, a charge of 2½% per month.
- 2. Electronically Billed Customers
- If you are an electronically billed customer in Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire or Birmingham, remember to include your Cost Centre and Product Detail Codes. If the details are not supplied, default values may be used and we cannot guarantee that these will be correct.
