Environmental Statement

WMS recognises the impact of its operations on the environment and is committed to reducing this through a programme of continuous improvement and integration of environmental considerations into its business decisions.

Compliance with the relevant laws and regulations will be regarded as a minimum standard.

WMS will seek to enhance awareness of relevant environmental issues among customers and endeavour to facilitate them in the pursuit of their environmental aims.

Objectives

To comply with current legislation and, where practical, seek to meet future legislative requirements ahead of relevant deadlines.

Continue to review our business operations, identifying and where possible, quantifying our environmental impacts and identifying examples of best practice that could be introduced.

Continue to improve our efficiency in the consumption of energy and other natural resources.

Continue to improve our efficiency in the minimisation of waste and seek to recover as much as is economically practical and ensure that the remainder is disposed of responsibly.

To take environmental considerations into account in our procurement decisions and encourage our suppliers and contractors to commit to good environment practices.
